La Paleta is a small but rapidly growing business making the best all natural ice creams and icy poles in WA (or even Australia!). We love that we offer a locally made and healthy alternative to mainstream ice cream. Our brand is fresh with a natural style, and we are looking for someone who embodies these qualities.

About the position
​
We believe the growth potential for our products is limitless and we are looking for someone with a can-do attitude to really make the most of this potential.

This role will primarily concentrate on increasing the availability and visibility of La Paleta in retail spaces across WA and Australia. The reality of a new small business means you will have a wide scope of tasks and responsibilities but the main focus of the role will be on growing sales. To date La Paleta has grown without a specific person in this role but we are ready to bring on a dedicated employee who can capitalise on our potential.

We want someone who is motivated and excited to grow our reach across the state significantly and explore national distribution. We're not looking for a cut-throat rep, we want someone who has excellent communication skills and who is personable, friendly and passionate about what we're doing – making 100% natural ice cream that tastes great.

The Role:
​

Maintain strong relationships with our existing stockists through active communication and support

Identify opportunities and grow distribution by signing on new stockists
-
Develop and implement strategic plans
-
Provide support in all areas of business administration
-
Process orders and monitor sales numbers for all stockists
-
Manage relevant databases for orders, sales figures and customer accounts

Activate tastings and merchandising in venues

Identify opportunities to drive promotional activity
Successful candidates will ideally have:

A positive and ambitious attitude with a strong work ethic
-
Experience in sales/marketing
-
Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
-
Strong understanding of the 'Sales Process' and how to convert client conversations into sales

Experience in administration
-
Experience in supply chain processes and logistics
